Volvo & Mack Truck 9996479 Gearbox Housing Eye Lifting Tool Alternative
Heavy duty specialty tool used to remove and install the gearbox housing for Volvo FM and Mack trucks I-Shift Transmission AT2512C.
Simply install the lift eye tool on the output shaft and use the housing separator tool 9998051 to split the main housing and range housing. Also sold as a kit with ONI428T or 9998051 Pressing Tool.
When assembling the gearbox, fit the lifting tool into the range section output shaft. Position the range housing over the main housing. Lower and line up the piston rod and planet wheel. Secure the range housing and torque tighten the bolts. Use with guide pins 9996876 (NOT INCLUDED) to facilitate the assembly.
