Time-Sert 5553-8 Big Sert Spark Plug Kit, M14x1.25 Ford Triton
The Big-Sert 5553-8 M14 x 1.25 Ford Triton spark plug thread repair kit is a specially made to fix damaged, stripped and/or missing threads in the Ford Triton engines.
The Big-Sert 5553-8 thread repair kit will fix Ford heads with a straight section between the threads and the taper seat. The models include 1.9, 3.8, 4.6, 5.4- and 6.8-liter engines with 2 or 4 valve heads.
The 5553-8 thread repair kit includes all the inserts needed to do a V8 engine spark plug.
This kit is NOT recommended for holes larger than 0.663" (16.8mm). For holes larger than 0.663" (16.8mm) and up to 0.73" (18.5mm) use the thread repair kit.
NOTE: The included is a partially threaded to bring the spark plug hole back to OEM specifications. Fully threaded spark plugs require different inserts in addition to this thread repair kit. The are fully threaded inserts which are 16.8mm long with a taper seat and requires the Time-Sert 51484A ring setting collar to be installed.
