The Subaru (FA & FB Engines) crankshaft socket slips over the crank snout and allows the mechanic to completely rotate the engine with a 1/2" ratchet or breaker bar
Also works on older 3.0L 6 cylinder DOHC engines when performing a timing belt replacement or other engine work
