The test lead is used, together with a multimeter, to test and adjust the potentiometer on the air mass meter and to test the fuel consumption display on the following models:
- Audi 100/200 with on-board computer (optional equipment)
- Audi 200T with instantaneous-consumption display (fitted as standard).
