OTC Tools 536586 GM Timing Belt Tensioner Retaining Pin
Applications: 2006 C/K, S/T SUV, H2, Corvette, GTO
536586 retains the timing chain guide in a compressed position away from the chain to allow timing chain and gear removal and installation.
If the tensioner is not held away from the chain, removal is difficult at best, and installation is impossible.
Failure to use 536586 will result in component damage.
