For GM / General Motors. EN-48585 pilots into the crankshaft bolt hole, and is used to center the balancer to the crankshaft hub. The balancer installs easily to the crankshaft when it is centered correctly. Once EN-48585 is installed into the crankshaft, the balancer is installed onto EN-48585, and then onto the crankshaft hub.
