For GM / General Motors. The piston wrist pin is full floating, and retained at each end with a clip in a bore. EN-46745 contains two sizes of pilot, and pilots into the wrist pin to grasp the retaining clip for removal or installation. Unapproved methods will scratch the piston or damage the clip, and can result in premature engine failure.
