Kent-Moore ToolsKent-Moore DT-47596 Remover, Bearing Race
For GM / General Motors. The side bearings have changed for enhanced performance and durability, and the axle housing has been changed to a single shim design, instead of the earlier 2 shims. As a result, J-45008 no longer fits under the bearing cup to remove it. DT-47596 fits into both the new and previous bearing cups, and is expanded to seat on its bottom edge. J-45124 Puller Bridge is then attached to DT-47596, and used to remove the bearing cup. Unapproved methods may damage the cup or housing.
