For GM / General Motors. DT-47541 is designed to properly interface the wheel bearing and allow for installation of the wheel hub to the wheel bearing without damaging the wheel bearing. Attempts to install the wheel hub to the wheel bearing without DT-47541 may result in separation of the wheel bearing inner race and subsequent damage to the new bearing assembly.
