5299448 Cummins/Caterpillar Piston Ring Compressor & Anti-Polishing Ring Kit
Direct replacement to OEM parts number 7040, PT-7040, 5299448, 5299447, 5299339 and 5394454. Supersedes 3163058, 3163158 and 3164846.
Designed to fit CAT 3400, 3406, 3408, 3412, 1693, C15 and Cummins ISX with 5.4 inch bore.
The piston ring compressor tool is required to install the piston, rings and connecting rod assembly into an anti-polishing ring cylinder liner. Use our Anti-Polishing Ring Adapter Set to remove the anti-polishing rings from the cylinder liner. Includes two Anti-polishing Rings and one Piston Ring Compressor Adapter.
Heavy duty steel structure machined, welded and finished with powder coating to resist corrosion and ensure a long-term and reliable performance.
